Beppy Take Zaiku are bamboo crafts produced in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, made from locally harvested madake bamboo. Beppu bamboo crafts are all handmade and are characterized by eight distinctive weaving techniques. In 2016, we had invited Kenichi Mori and a curator, Tetsuya Abe to Sonoma and San Francisco. They came to Sonoma for an exhibition, associating with an exhibition Modern Twist the Sonoma Vally Museum of Art.
